We know sometimes it’s not just savings you’re interested in as a Beehive Money member. You could also need access to a range of other financial products and services to work with your savings account, especially if you’re a first-time buyer. That’s exactly what’s now available here in the Beehive Money Marketplace. We’re bringing together a range of carefully selected partners and tools to help you manage your money better and make your way onto the property ladder with ease. Here’s an update from Beehive HQ all about the latest things we’ve just released into the app that are going to make your homebuying journey a little easier. Don’t forget to update it!

Speak to Mortgage Advice Bureau via Beehive Money

Whether you’re a Lifetime ISA customer or an Easy Access ISA saver, mortgages may well be high on your radar. We’ve introduced mortgage advice from Mortgage Advice Bureau via Beehive Money. With this service, you can be sure that your mortgage is the right one for you. The expert advisers will get to know you, understand your finances and then search over 12,000 mortgages from more than 90 different lenders to find your perfect match.

Mortgage Journey

If your goal is to buy your first home, we can help you access mortgage advice via the Beehive Money app and we'll take you through the whole journey with tools, calculators, articles and more to help the process move as smoothly as we can. It all starts with getting in touch.

When your first chat to Mortgage Advice Bureau, they’ll go through your 'Fact Find' (the questions you filled in originally) to discuss how much you’d like to borrow, your circumstances and how far you are into your home buying journey already.

There’s no perfect time to get mortgage advice, it’s totally up to you. If you’re not sure that you’re ready yet and just want to chat to an expert about the next steps for you – that’s perfectly fine. The advisers at Mortgage Advice Bureau will be able to recommend what you can do in order to get yourself in the best place to get your mortgage. This could include improving your credit score, saving some more deposit and deciding on your budget. Head to the Beehive blog for lots more articles and information on these areas too. We also have a mortgage, stamp duty and a deposit calculator to help you grasp how much you could be paying monthly for your mortgage.

What about other Savings Goals?

We understand that it’s not just mortgages our members are interested in. If you’ve already bought your home, you could be thinking about the future and what your income will be in retirement. If you’re on the journey to saving towards your retirement with your Beehive Money Retirement Lifetime ISA, why not set up a retirement Savings Goal and read up on some of our retirement-related articles to guide you through it?

Read all about our Beehive app Savings Goal function here. We’ve also updated some other areas of the app. You can now download statements to your device from all your Beehive Money accounts and we now accept transfers in for our Homebuyer Lifetime ISA. Thanks for bearing with us, we can’t wait for you to join Beehive if you’ve been waiting to transfer in – we're ready for you. Keep in touch with us on social media and don’t forget to chat to BeeBot or one of our friendly Customer Advocates via WebChat if you need anything and we’ll get back to you within business hours.

As usual, we’ve got some of the important stuff to run through with you below.
